The Long Beach Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc., is back this spring with our signature event, Handbags for Hope! Highlights of the 2012 event, as in years past, will be raffled gifts, a silent and lively live auction, featuring our favorite Fundraiser: "Auctioneer Extraordinaire" Jim Nye; and of course; "Handbag Bingo!"
We look forward to spending another afternoon of food, fun and fundraising with you, our dear friends and supporters. Through your generosity our chapter has raised over $100,000 in three years which has benefitted our National Foundation, and helped fund the education of local high school seniors. Last year’s recipients are now attending such distinguished colleges and universities as: Cal State Long Beach, USC, Morehouse, and UC Irvine.
Jack & Jill Long Beach is proud to assist young members of the community with their education and this goal is only possible through your continued support. So prepare to shop, have a great time and make another important contribution to your community!
Proceeds from this event will, again, benefit the Jack and Jill of America Foundation and the Indira Hale-Tucker & Doris Cooper-Robinson Scholarship Fund. In order to continue funding these important organizations, your participation is crucial!
